On Wednesday, the Memphis Grizzlies traded star point guard Mike Conley--their all-time leader in points, assists, three-pointers, and games played--to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver, Jae Crowder, the 23rd pick in Thursday's draft, and a future first-round pick. On Twitter, Conley thanked the city of Memphis, where he's spent his entire career, and added, "Excited to give all I have to The Jazz and the city of Utah!" Utah, of course, is a state, not a city--a gaffe Conley quickly acknowledged when he deleted and corrected the tweet while acknowledging, "Meant to say city of Salt Lake! Lol." As USA Today notes, the Grizzlies are expected to replace him by selecting Murray State point guard Ja Morant with the second pick in Thursday's NBA draft.
